In addition to assisting patients at MCRM Fertility with their fertility and hormonal balancing needs, Dr. Aubuchon also helps in educating the next generation of women’s health professionals by being adjunct associate professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health at the University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) and Saint Louis University.
Dr. Aubuchon received both her undergraduate degree in psychology and her medical degree from Northwestern University. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University in St Louis and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.
Following fellowship training, Dr. Aubuchon joined the faculty at the University of Cincinnati, then served as assistant professor at the University of Missouri- Columbia School of Medicine (Mizzou) until joining MCRM Fertility in the summer of 2016. At both University locations, she founded and directed the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Center of Excellence and has always been interested in the management of PCOS.
Dr. Aubuchon and her only sibling are 14 years apart due to her parents' infertility and she saw firsthand the pain of those years. During her third-year as medical student in obstetrics and gynecology rotation, in 1996, she immediately saw the potential solutions offered by reproductive medicine and its technologies and knew she wanted to be a part of that world. She is passionate about respectfully informing patients, as fully as possible, about all their treatment options and assisting them to the option with the highest pregnancy rate that they are most comfortable with, taking into account their medical situation and testing, individual beliefs and faith, and cost.
