CHLOE™ combines artificial intelligence (AI) with time-lapse incubator technology to continuously monitor and record embryo development from fertilization through Day 6, while embryos remain safely inside their carefully controlled laboratory environment.
Rather than relying only on observations made at specific points in development, CHLOE analyzes information captured throughout embryo growth. This provides our embryologists with additional developmental insights to consider as they evaluate embryos and make important laboratory decisions.
CHLOE also gives patients a meaningful new way to connect with this part of their IVF journey. After the embryo development process is complete, patients can view a recorded video showing their embryo’s development.

After ICSI (sperm injection), eggs are placed in the time-lapse incubator, where they remain during the first six days of development.
Images are captured throughout this period while the carefully controlled laboratory environment is maintained.
Mature eggs are injected with sperm (ICSI) and placed into the time-lapse incubator.
Fertilization is confirmed and early embryo development begins.
Time-lapse imaging documents cell division while embryos remain inside the incubator.
Our embryologists continue evaluating development using information captured throughout the time-lapse record.
Embryos continue progressing toward the blastocyst stage within the stable incubator environment.
The developmental record is reviewed to help our embryologists assess embryo development and support laboratory decision-making.
