I am thankful I was Chosen for this fight
It’s been a long road. An uphill road. Sometimes I had the energy to face it with determination. Other times (most times), I could barely see through my tears. I don’t know why we had to take this road but I do know that this pregnancy, this baby, is a miracle.
“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”

She didn’t exactly cooperate at the anatomy scan so I had a repeat one done at 25 weeks where they said she was measuring a week ahead and had long legs! They also said they could see hair, a lot of hair and how it was really rare to see it that early in an ultrasound, so I hope she comes out with a good head of hair. Guess we will see!
We announced her name on our Christmas Card! Kinley Jolene.
One day I was feeling really sentimental and thankful for how far we have come and how blessed we have been to be able to conceive that I shared a video on Facebook about our journey. While infertility is a b…. and awful, I am thankful. I am thankful that I was chosen to fight this fight and come out on top. It really challenges your perspective.
Hopefully, my next update is sharing our birth announcement with you. Being a success story out of MCRM is one of my favorite things.
