Grandparents of the Future Class: Become Knowledgable and Supportive

“Grandparents of the Future” class to assist parents and family members have a better understanding of the difficulty journey their loved one is traversing. Its at this class that“Grandparents of the Future” will have the opportunity to:

• Find ways to emotionally support their family members struggling with infertility
• Share stories of HOPE & Encouragement
• Learn more about the infertility journey, struggle and process
• Meet MCRM Fertility’s Fertility Specialists, Dr. Ahlering and Dr. Aubuchon
• Tour MCRM Fertility
• Take a Peek into the MCRM Fertility Lab and see where the magic of miracles takes place

MCRM Patient Support Specialist, Jen Bader, recently sat down with her own parents to discuss the plans of such a class and how it would have assisted them. Being grandparents to 5 beautiful grandchildren, little did they know that their children would struggle starting families of their own and personally have to watch both of them walk through the emotional road of IVF. “Looking back to nearly 11 years ago when you went through the fertility struggle, I believe that this would have been an very helpful outlet and resource. There’s not a great support system for families in place which provide information and resources. This seems like a great way to involve family in the process and for them to gain a better understanding and  learn more”, states Cathy. “As many family members out there, today, struggle with the HOW to encourage, WHAT to do to help, it’s opportunities like this that take patient and family support to the next level.” MCRM Fertility would like to invite any parent who has a child that is battling through struggle of infertility to attend this special class. This class is open to all whether their loved one is currently a patient at MCRM Fertility or not. It’s about you and helping you cope along with your loved one.
